i read like i am drowning - i am nearly halfway done with Postwar, i have devoured three novels this week, and i will finish these before i am done here: Against the Day, Finnegan's Wake, Moby-Dick. i will burn through that pilates dvd. i will finish the damned rosetta stone, i have to, i should take the german integrationsvereinbarung test. i will clean the floor every day when E is done with her scissors and markers and paper, i will teach her to cook, i will get up early enough to walk and not take the stroller. i will, i say, like i am crying, like i am confident, like i am desperate, like i am determined. Like i make decisions.
