white pizza
taken partly from seriouseats. posted here because my haloumi-apricot pizza recipe disappeared from the internets, and i mourn it.

pizza dough (i was not particular, i think it was bio)
ricotta (the recipe says 1.5c, but i don't remember)
olive oil
1 onion, diced smallish
garlic (two or three or so)
cream - a good half cup at least. I like cream.
salt
thyme
pepper
possibly mozzarella

First make white sauce: olive oil and onion, saute until yellow-clear. Add garlic and saute a moment further - then, cream, lower the heat and cook while stirring until thickened - then, remove from heat, and add thyme, salt, pepper. Let it cool while the oven is preheating.

Pizza dough - spread white sauce over; then ricotta. Then mozz. Pizza dough comes with directions, usually.
