well, that's like hypnotizing chickens

i like it when nice things happen without my putting any effort into them. i'm that lazy. examples:

decent songs that just come on the radio, instead of my having to look through the cd's i happen to have in the car.
when they show ocean's 11 over and over and over again on tv, which i own, but can't be put to the trouble of putting it in the dvd player and changing the channel for the auto-play.
fireworks for sporting events i had no idea were happening, but that can be seen from far away.
clearance sales that were only advertised in the paper version of the news that i don't get and don't know about until i'm actually in the store trying to buy something.
also, perfect little vaguely-deco $10 end-tables in the very first used-furniture store i visit.

Mmmmm. Happiness is a cheap little vaguely-deco end-table that i haven't quite decided if i want to paint black, or dark brown, or not paint yet.
