planning thanksgiving for 13. whoa
wednesday: thaw turkeythursday: start dressing: 400g pork, 2 onion, 2 ribs celery, 3 apples. in le creuset. later: bread bag, seasoning, salt, huhnerfond, 2 eggs
friday: pumpkin pie. crust: 1/2c butter, cubed and cold, 1/2t salt, 1 1/8c flour, 4-5T ice water. plastic wrap, fridge 30min, roll out, freeze 30min. filling: 3/4c sugar, 1/2t salt, 2t pie spice, 2 eggs, 1/2can pie mix, 255ml evaporated milk. mix. pour. 15min@230°C, 45min@175c, fridge.
friday: bake potatoes, later, milk and blue cheese.
friday, cranberry relish: zest of one orange, cranberrys - 2cans, pears - 2, 1/2c brown sugar, pinch salt. mix, fridge.
friday: carrots. 1kg carrots, peeled and sliced, 4T butter, 2/3c brown sugar, 2c water, salt, pepper.
saturday: 12:00 römertopf soak, 12:30 turkey in, onion, apple, celery, garlic. rinsed, breast down, salt pepper oo/kkö, 12:45 turn oven on: 200°C/3h.
